At the Jordan, the Father spoke Belovedness over the Son — and then the Son was sent. Into the wilderness, into the world, to the cross and through it. First Beloved, then sent. First the identity, then the mission. You cannot be sent from anywhere except Belovedness, or the sending curdles into striving.
There is a particular power in being sent single — time that isn't divided, a yes that isn't negotiated across a covenant. That's not a consolation. It's a commissioning. Paul carried the gospel across the world with exactly this kind of freedom. Your season isn't a delay in your purpose. It may be the precise shape of it.
Your wound has become your witness. The uncovering, the wisdom, the freedom, the preparation — none of it was meant to stay inside you. It was meant to walk out into the world the becoming has been preparing you for, toward the people who have been waiting to hear the Voice that named you Beloved, spoken now through you.
You were not healed to be whole in private. You were healed to be sent in love.
Ask one question this week: who is one person the becoming God has done in me is meant to reach? Take one small step toward them — a conversation, an invitation, a presence.
